Flight sim fans rejoice! Namco Bandai has announced today that they will be bringing the much anticipated demo of Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation will be made available for download to Xbox Live users over the Marketplace during E3. The free, playable demo of the game, distributed over Live as part of the “Microsoft E3: Bringing it Home” experience, will allow players to take to the skies in their favorite aircraft and allowing them to call in immediate support of both aerial and naval allies through the Allied Support System.
The game, now an Xbox 360 exclusive to be shipped on October 23, 2007 for $59.99, boasts of new gameplay elements including the Allied Support System and the Dynamic Operations System, which allow for unprecendented control over the missions are completed in the vast “living battlefield”. Also available at launch will be the exclusive limited-edition Ace Combat 6: ACE-EDGE Flightstick bundle, which wil sell for an estimated retail price of $149.99.
