Remember Homer Simpson looking at a globe and going, “Heh, heh, look at this country – U R Gay!”? Well, it looks like Nintendo thinks the same of everyone’s who’s looking forward to the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy. But yeah, they’re a little bit more polite than the iconic yellow cartoon character, at least. We think. Anywho, a lot of people have been pointing out that the logo for the game features a number of little stars below the letters that spell out “U R MR GAY”. A boneheaded move by a designer who we can expect to be fired soon, or a cosmic impossible coincidence? You decide. In the meantime, it’s official. Nintendo says we’re Mr. Gay, and if they say it, well, it must be true. Now, who’s man enough to sit with me and watch Brokeback Mountain and play with my Wii?
