Lately, there has been a lot of confusion regarding some of the high profile title launch in India, of which Fable II was a part as well. Thankfully, the good folks at Genesis have sent us this PR announcement below to clear it up. Find it after the jump.

New Delhi October 22nd: Microsoft announced today that, “Fable II” the action and adventure role playing game from famed development house Lionhead Studios, has shipped to Indian retailers. The game, available exclusively on Xbox 360, will be made available for a retail price of Rs.2195 and is rated “M” for Mature.

Now the price certainly comes as a surprise to us as the expectations were hovering around the 1895/- range. Sadly, there is no news about the Limited Edition. However, with all the stellar reviews the game has been getting, a couple of hundred more should not be a reason enough to stop you from getting the game.

While our search for the game on the shelves of Chennai retailers has not been particularly fruitful today, here is hoping that tomorrow will be a much better day. A soaking wet Krishnan will surely be praying for one right about now.
