Now here is a piece of news that caught us completely by suprise. While talikng to a little bird recently, Dell’s plans of getting Alienware to India slipped out.

Apparently Dell is looking for a launch sometime in July 2009. It will be bringing in an Alienware laptop to test the waters. Initially, only one model will be launched. If successful, we just might get to have the whole product range of Alienware launched here in India.

Now how successful will Alienware be with the price-concious Indian customer but we are sure lot of gamers will be delighted to see Alienware on the shelves soon.

Hmmm, I don’t like Alienware because of the prices it commands. You pay X% more simply because it is an ‘Alienware’ pc, which simply isn’t right.

Then again, some people really do like stroking their ego by telling their friends “I have an Alienware pc, look how awesome I am.”

I wonder how India will react to it. There is surely alot of money going around there with its emerging economy.

i dont understand why dont laptop manufacturers realise to fill in the void of a powerful graphics performer in india. There is surely a demand cuz. And theres no product.( now dont argue with m1730 please!! i wont settle with that, neithere g50v paying a lakh is too much, would settle with msi though but 2 month on deliver!!OMG ).

Seriosly how many of you googled to find that there are many gaming rigs out there but none in india?? So teasingly painful.. if alienware really launches a good machine (now, and i mean now) it could send other laptop makers weeping back for not having utilised this segment.
