FaceBreaker, Madden NFL 09 Demos Out

With the games just around the corner, demos of FaceBreaker and Madden NFL 09 have just been released on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, with the former weighing in at 954.56 MB and the other at 1.09 GB. The FaceBreaker demo, which will be available on the PlayStation Network on August 7, features Sparrow, Ice and Steve as playable characters in addition to showcasing the Photo Game Face, which allows players to use the Xbox LIVE Vision camera or the PlayStation Eye camera to upload their mug shots for virtual destruction in-game.

FaceBreaker is slated for a September 3, 2008 release date while Madden NFL 09 will be on shelves August 15, 2008. As for when they will be available in India, your guess is as good as ours.

I have a question or two. Have any of you ever played Madden NFL 2003 [let alone Madden NFL 09] and why would guys from your end of the globe be interested in it?? I didn’t think anyone from your end of the earth knew the gestics or took an interest in how American football is played. I know the former Madden NFL 2003 game and have seen it played. It’s a real hee man or macho man sport with full body contact and sounds that make it feel so realistic like you’re tearing into the guy when you contact him. You really do feel like you’re a part of the Patriots team or whatever team you choose. I can’t imagine how much more realistic the game could be except for maybe stretchers brought out onto the field when the player gets hit. There’s even weather elements in 2003 game like snow or rain or fog. Maybe they inproved on their weather elements? And when a player is tackled he has either lost his helmet and/or groans in pain.

I advise this one highly because of what I had seen with Madden 2003 and suggest for all you hee men out there that you not only get to tackle but you have to use your witts against the other team to move that football to win. Anybody can just blow things up or shoot at a target. With this game, you have to be the coach and decide what player is going to make the next move. Remember it takes 4 trys to make 10 yards and if you don’t make the 10 yards it automatically becomes the other teams ball. Usually, by the 4th down, you kick the ball. It’s like playing a chess game that’s gone wild. You can either play one-on-one against the machine or grab a friend and play 2 against the machine. Once you’ve got the concept, you won’t put the game down. No one does around here. LOL WHOA this one really blew my mind…
