Looks like Christina Aguilera was right, you are beautiful no matter what they say! One of the emerging story themes brought up during the Games Convention conference of Kojima-san’s highly anticipated magnum opus was about how four fine-looking women transformed into technological “beasts” of combat. Now say hello to these four buxom metallic babes of destruction: Laughing Octopus, Raging Raven, Howling Wolf and Screaming Mantis. Interesting choice of names, an obvious nod to the first Metal Gear Solid no less. What’s even more interesting is that these characters will be modeled and motion-captured after real-life actresses, a first for the series!

Kojima’s newest tragic characters are expected to be sympathetic, as the Metal Gear director explained that “War created these ugly beasts, but beneath they are beautiful women.” He asked the audience rhetorically “Can these beautiful ladies return to human form?” We’ll surely find out when we play the game next year.

You tease, Kojima-san. You fucking tease.
